London Lyric Opera were fortunate to secure the services of Lionel Friend  as Principal Conductor to conduct Der fliegende Holländer at the Barbican on November 27th at 7.00pm. Acknowledged as one of the leading and most distinguished Wagnerian conductors of his generation. This was the most ambitious and challenging project for LLO in our inaugural year

"Cycles" was our concert dedicated to the great orchestral song cycles held at Cadogan Hall, September 16th 2008 at 7.30pm. Madeleine Lovell  conducted this performance of works by Respighi, Berlioz, Vaughan Williams and a new cycle by Michael Pringsheim. Madeleine was also  assistant conductor in Der fliegende Holländer and conducted Fidelio at Cadogan Hall in February 2009.

LLO's next project is Die Fledermaus at Cadogan Hall also to be conducted by Madeleine Lovell.
