The St. George's Chamber Orchestra (SGCO) is the new professional orchestra for the South East. All the SGCO's members play regularly with the famous London orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras.

The SGCO is deeply committed to educational work and making a contribution to the local community. All its members understand the need to bring high quality musical experiences to those who usually have little access to classical music. The SGCO will launch a programme of workshops, with members going into local schools and giving short recitals in the community. 

The St. George's Chamber Orchestra has given concerts at LSO St Lukes, London and at Cadogan Hall. In 2010 they are planning to tour with London Lyric Opera to several venues in the South of England.
